Morgan Challenge at Snetterton - 26 March 2023

The first race of the 2023 Morgan Motor Company Challenge season got underway at Snetterton on Sunday 26th March. No fewer than five Techniques prepared Morgans took to the grid of 17 cars.

After extensive work over the winter months Paul Bryan's 4/4 performed very well, with Paul improving his lap time by over 6 seconds in the second race.

Kathy Sherry took 3rd in Class 4 in both races, her first outing in the newly acquired +4 Clubsport, which required significant amount of work to make it race ready.

Simon Sherry represented the +8's being the only one present on the grid at the opening round, taking 3rd in Class in both races.

Peter Cole drove extremely well in his Techniques prepared Roadster Lightweight taking 2nd in class 3 in both races.

John Emberson in his +4 BabyDoll started from the back of the grid in Race 1, shuffling through the pack to finish 8th overall. In the second race of the day John had a superb race, hunting down the front of the grid to finish a very respectable 2nd overall and 2nd in class.

A very successful weekend for Team Techniques supported by Brian, James and Daryl. Hopefully see you at the next round at Thruxton on the 7th May.
