Morgan Challenge at Oulton Park

A visit to Oulton Park saw another successful weekend for the Techniques' supported Morgans. Roger Whiteside in his Class 1 +8 as well as Simon Sherry in his Class 4 +8. This was Simon's first time racing at the fast sweeping circuit of Oulton Park.
Both cars qualified well, followed with a great race for both cars in race 1. Roger started the race 4th on the grid but pushed on throughout the 30min race to come home 2nd overall and first in Class. Simon Sherry found a huge 5 second improvement on his lap time and also came home second in Class 4.
Race 2 saw a further improvement for Roger Whiteside with an outright victory and another Class win, including a 3 second improvement on his qualifying lap time in the morning. Simon was able to maintain his improved lap times to come home in a very respectable 2nd in Class.
Team Techniques will travel to the final round of the Morgan Challenge on 24th September for yet another double header. See you there!
