Final round of 2017 Techniques Speed Championship

Monday 16th October 2017

The 16th and final round of the Techniques Speedmog Championship took place on October 1st at the Prescott Hillclimb.

For the first time in a number of years there was no nail biting finish as George Proudfoot had already secured the overall win with some determined driving in his 1939 flat rad 4/4. The image above shows George Proudfoot at Prescott's Pardon Corner.

Simon Baines was a close second and between them they set no less than 15 class records.

Rob Toon (image below), last year's winner, fought off strong challenges from Chris Bailey and Clive Glass to secure third place in his 1980 Plus 8.
