2019 Techniques Trophy

What a fabulous day at Silverstone! Thank you to everyone who came along to the Bentley Drivers Club, especially those who entered our annual Techniques Trophy race for 4-cylinder Morgans. We were spoilt by the weather with it staying dry and really quite warm at times.
The racing was close throughout the grid, with lots of action happening all around and all busy looking in our mirrors for the charging 'Bell' - Mike was having to start from the back of the grid driving Simon's gorgeous historic plus 4 and drove superbly to claim P4 which was amazing.
Congratulations to all our 'Winners', Tim Parsons and James Sumner in the TT and first Pushrod Morgan home and TC winner Matt Taylorson. They all drove magnificently, especially when lapping most of the cars on the grid!
Also well done to everyone else who finished behind our 'Winners', you still put on a great show!, particularly John Bevan who thoroughly deserved the bottle of fizz for Driver of the Day, keeping his 4/4 Sport on the right lines for a very neat and tidy drive (I understand this was a very tight call between John and the flying Mike Bell).
Last but not least, we would like to thank Chas Windridge, for his presentation and kind words and what a way to finish his racing days by winning the TT in 2011...!
