This model has been in continuous production since 1936. But to say it is stuck in the ‘30s could be no further than the truth!! Evolution not revolution is the key to the Morgan 4/4. Still providing outstanding value for money, the latest Ford engine powers the Morgan 4/4 up the road extremely rapidly belying its traditional bodywork.

The Morgan 4/4 Sport replaces the Morgan 4/4 and confirms Morgans commitment to providing the best performance motoring at the best possible price. The Morgan 4/4 Sport has slimmed down to a remarkable 800kg on road weight, a 140kg saving on the outgoing model. To achieve this, Morgan uses the all alloy Ford Sigma engine and has dispensed with the spare wheel, door handles, front bumpers and rear over riders. It now has an improved power/weight ratio and whereas official performance figures have yet to be released, we expect the 4/4 Sport to show a healthy improvement over the outgoing model.

The standard car can be ordered from a selection of 5 paint colours all fitted with tan upholstery. Like the Morgan +4 and the Morgan Roadster, the Morgan 4/4 is built in the same way by Morgan craftsmen out of the same materials. The options list for the 4/4 is equally comprehensive. A bespoke car built by British craftsmen at ordinary saloon car prices – the Morgan 4/4’s future looks secure.
